Wow, people are already talking about me. Hi para and dini and everyone else I don't know! hehe.. oh and hi Rene too, if you are reading this.

I had fun today. My niece, nephew and I beat up on each other like we always do, and we talked about lots of stuff. Watched some of the Tour de France or whatever it is called. My sis and her husband own a bike store so they keep up with that stuff. My niece told me a crazy story today about something that is happening in the news. Apparently some guy in Spartanburg, South Carolina (which isn't that far from me) was in the dmv/tag office/whatever and had to go to the bathroom really bad. He didn't want to get out of line cause it always takes forever so he pulled down his pants and took a dump right in the floor... That gives us North Carolinians even more reason to make fun of SC. That is just gross.

Well, I have Girl Interrupted and Gladiator now.. and Green Mile. I need to watch them all but I don't have enough time left today and I have to work tomorrow. I guess I'll just read more of my book tonight. I want to watch Politically Incorrect tonight since my niece was talking about it but it comes on the same time as 08th MS Team. That really pisses me off. Everything I want to see always comes on at the same time. I didn't get to tape MS Gundam so I guess I will just give up on all of them, and worry about taping Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 off action channel all next month.

I went to the comic book store in the next county last week and got some more anime comics. Got Saint Tail 1 and Record of Lodoss War 1.. I wasn't impressed with either really. I don't know why I got Saint Tail. I have seen the first episode and didn't care for it. I guess I just wanted the comic so I could say I have it heh. Hmm, I just got a message saying I am out of space on my HD. That sucks. I guess I better hurry up and watch that new Cowboy Bebop ep and get rid of it. I need a cd writer. Mmm.. cheesecake kicks ass.

Thursday, July 26, 2001 - 10:26 a.m.

A bunch of people are coming over to my house today. Mostly family (my sis and her kids) and two of my mom's friends. We are having a fish fry or something. If my brother and his family, and my uncle come upstairs, then that will be like 11-12 people in the house. Geez. I'll be hiding in my room with my niece and nephew so it doesn't really matter. I hope my niece finally got to tape Girl Interrupted for me. She's been trying for weeks but she always misses when it's on. At least she got Gladiator already. I bought a cool tape a few weeks ago. It's some old X-men cartoon episodes. I got it at a goodwill store for like $1. It's in bad shape, but watchable. It's the episodes where Jubilee first shows up. That rules.
I have to work tomorrow. I hate work. I do housekeeping at a resort in Lake Lure. Lake Lure is famous and lots of tourists come around, which I find funny as hell. I guess it is because movies have been filmed around the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area (Dirty Dancing, Last of the Mohicans.. probably more). It's just a mountain area with basically nothing to do there. You have to drive 30 minutes one way, or probably 50 minutes the other just to get to a real grocery store. Even further than that to get to a fast food restaurant. But I suppose if you have enough money to have a membership to stay in those condos, you wouldn't be the type to eat at Mcdonalds anyway hehe.
I posted some pics of myself in the Church of Shannon yahoo club (click the Worship link on this page). The Goddess herself asked me to a while back (I know her personally, aren't I special? ;) They aren't that great. Most of my online friends have seen them already, cept for the newest pic, which sucks anyway. I look like I had been in a fight or something.
I was going to go pick up my paycheck today but since everyone is coming over, I guess I will get it tomorrow at work. That means I can't cash/deposit it until monday. That kinda sucks but I don't really need the money at this moment anyway. Well, I guess I better make myself stop typing now. It's too easy for me to ramble on and on hehe. I'll probably write a ton more tonight after everyone leaves.

Well, this is my first entry in this thing. I am just killing time until midnight when 08th MS Team comes on. I have been reading a book today. _The Regulators_ by Richard Bachman aka Stephen King. It's pretty cool. I've been checking out tons of library books recently. I read two X-men novels the other day. I didn't even know there were X-men novels. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. There are novels for just about every series/movie/whatever. I even have novels for the original Mobile Suit Gundam. I still haven't gotten around to reading those. My brother let me 'borrow' them around... a year ago probably, and I just haven't reminded him that I have them. After seeing episodes of MS Gundam and 08th MS Team, I can safely say that I'm not a big gundam fan. Gundam Wing was good but it had lots of cute guys and less mech fighting. Speaking of all this anime, I should be getting some more fansubs in the next few weeks. I haven't bought fansubs in forever. I'm getting the Angel Sanctuary OAV/s, Kodomo no Omocha vol 1 (funny as hell), and the Mahou Tsukai Tai OAVs (also funny). Aburatsubo is so pretty and... GAY. It's hilarious how he is always coming on to Takeo(?). I have been watching a decent amount of anime lately. I have a friend now who has tons of anime. I am so happy. I borrowed Urotsukidoji II (yeah I'm a perv too), Kekko Kamen (heheheh), and Trigun. Vash the Stampede is such a dork. A cute dork though. I also borrowed Mahou Tsukai Tai, which is how I know it's funny. My friend gave me an Arslan Senki poster. It kicks total ass. It's such a pretty picture of Arslan. I think it came out of Newtype magazine and he just laminated it. I keep wanting to show my online friends what it looks like, but I can't find the same picture anywhere online. Oh well. I don't think they care anyway. I read that Cowboy Bebop is going to come on Cartoon Network. That is kinda scary, but cool. There is lots of stuff that would have to be edited out, even if they are putting it on that 'Adult Swim' or whatever. I have been watching CB for a while now. I have seen up to episode 14 so far thanks to my nice online friend Rene. :P It won't be long before I get a gift certificate to Media Play. I can't decide what anime I want to buy with it though. I wish I had a dvd player. I'd get a bunch of box sets.. well, if I had enough money to do that. Anyhoo, I guess I will go read some more of my book.
